Hey Gurlll, Why do people consume more calories during the weekend?

So, I have been on this health kick lately. I have been eating the right things and working out. BUT...This Saturday my friend had a Bridal Party, and I ate like four chocolate cupcakes. LOL. So of course I have to work out crazy this week. The guy who wrote Eat This, Not That(Clint Carter) said that most people eat 200 calories more on the weekend. That is exactly what I did. LOL.
